The Bizarre Blood Lust Romance Conundrum

BLR7 copy tex copyA strange occurrence has been happening since last winter. Downloads for my free book, Blood Lust Romance, have been steady. The last few weeks, it has been by highest downloaded book. People write me emails and send me messages on Facebook telling me how much they loved it. The conversion from that book, to the second book in the series, Blood Lust Revenge, has also been really good. So much so, that last week marked the first time that it beat out Black Star Canyon as my weekly best seller.

So, what is the problem then?

I don’t have a single review for either book on amazon! LOL.

I have one review on Barnes and Noble. It is positive. But that is it.

I understand the content for these books are extremely graphic and they are not for everyone. It even says so in the title of the books. I think one reason why people may not want to review these is because they don’t want people to know that they read them! LOL.

If you are into extreme exploitation horror, then you will probably really like these, if not, then don’t even go near them! :) I wrote these very early on in my career and they are inspired by films like Last House on the Left, I Spit on Your Grave, The Hills Have Eyes, etc. So if you son’t like those, stay away from these.

Now to the people who have read them. Some of you have sent me emails telling me how much you enjoyed them and how sick you think I am and how much that means to you. Thank you all so much for your kind words about those books. They are very personal to me even though they are so outlandish.

The third book was supposed to be out this summer. I have not finished it yet. The reason why, is because the third and final book, is very hard for me to write. The story take a drastic turn and the last book in the trilogy is very, very personal. So here is what I purpose…

I will write the third and final book in the BLR trilogy once Blood Lust Revenge, BLR part 2, gets 25 reviews. BLR P2 9 copy

They don’t all have to be on the site, but 25 reviews is what I am sticking to.

At first I thought that maybe there were just free mongers out there, snatching the book up because it was free and not reading it. But then, why would anyone buy the second book if they didn’t read the first one?

Another strange but true fact is that both books have been selling better in Germany than anywhere else. That is the only market where they have been steadily selling. Everywhere has been steady with the first book being free and then the sales of part 2 fluctuate, but in Germany, it seems to be consistent for one and two.

Anyhow, there are many things that I want to write, including season 3 of Black Star Canyon, the next Creepology series, I would like to finish the Black Market Blood Drive series and the Zombie Alpha series. Plus there are a few more that I haven’t even started yet. There is a detective noir-ish series, a twilight zone-ish series, a slasher-ish series, a wrestling-ish series, and also a fantasy series. (WTF? Right?)

So to make a long story short, I really want to finish this trilogy, but it is much too tiring on me emotionally. If I knew people really wanted it, then I would do it.

And don’t try to be sneaky and not review book one! LOL.

I hope this makes sense and I hope you all understand. I know you will after you read the third book, but until then, you just have to trust me.

Til next time, keep it creepy!
